Katie's love for music is rivaled only by her love for queso dip and sunsets. She has lived in Pacific Beach for four years and continues her nightly tradition of walking the boardwalk each night with her husband to catch the sunset.

Katie loves the Middle East and leads pilgrimages to the Holy Land and Europe. In her free time she is learning Arabic and Farsi and runs a volunteer organization that helps welcome Middle Eastern refugees to El Cajon. She sees the Holy Family in each family she welcomes and is committed to feeding, clothing. and welcoming Jesus in the least of these.
