What is VBS like? See what people had to say...

Parents:

My child received a deeper love and understanding for God and she now understands how much God loves her.”

“My daughter came home and put on her apron and said she was the teacher at a preschool. When asked what she was going to teach her students she replied, ‘That God loves them.’”

Adult Helpers and Teen Leaders on how VBS help them learn more about God:

“Just being able to see the kids learn about Jesus through the songs, games, and other activities, helped strengthen my faith!”

“Becoming more familiar with the Bible verses and connecting the key points to our everyday existence... in a way for children to understand which in turn helped me become more aware having to teach it!”

Adult Helpers and Teen Leaders on how VBS help them meet new people and feel more connected to the community:

“I recognize more people at Mass now and it feels great to have that connection.”

“I got to be friends with the crew leaders, the kids, and the parents!”

2022 VBS - Monumental

Thank you to all our leaders and helpers for making this year's VBS a great time!  We had so much fun discovering God's greatness and celebrating God's "monumental" love!

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for coordinating our Food Pantry tours and participation in preparation for the weekly Food Distribution.

2019 VBS - Roar!

Thanks to all who participated and to all our leaders and helpers who made it a success!  We had a great time all week going on our African Safari adventure and learning more about how when 'Life is Wild, God is Good.'  Learn more about VBS in this Ministry Highlight.

Also, a big thank you to all our children who participated in our fundraiser throughout the week for Fr. Sebastian's home church, St. Mary's and the parish school, St. Kizito Primary, in Bugwanya, Uganda.  We collected over 4,400 coins and dollars for a total of $335.59 to help raise money to build their new water collection system...Great work!
