Vacation Bible School
Save the Date - July 16-20, 2018
Join us this summer for another adventure during Vacation Bible School (VBS). This year's theme - 'Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.' We are going on an island adventure where we'll learn more about trusting God through all our storms and how Jesus saves and rescues us. Each day there will be fun games, exciting bible stories, cool crafts, and much more!
For ages 3 - entering 6th grade in the Fall of 2018. Helper and assistant roles available for teens entering 7th grade through 12th grade and opportunities for adults as well! Contact Gayle if you have questions or are interested in helping put on our amazing VBS this summer!
What does a typical day look like at VBS? Kids start at Cast-Away Sing and Play to sing and dance and learn about the day's theme. After that they journey with their small group ("crew") from station to station to hear how that theme is reinforced in different ways-through games, bible stories, crafts/experiments, and even snacks! At the end of the day, everyone comes back together to recap the day and sing some more!
We are in our final registration period! If you want to participate this year, don't delay in signing up!

What is VBS like? See and hear what it was like last summer
|What did parents and adult/teen helpers think of last year's VBS?|
“My child received a deeper love and understanding for God and she now understands how much God loves her.”
“My daughter came home and put on her apron and said she was the teacher at a preschool. When asked what she was going to teach her students she replied, ‘That God loves them.’”
Adult Helpers and Teen Leaders on how VBS help them learn more about God:
“Just being able to see the kids learn about Jesus through the songs, games, and other activities, helped strengthen my faith!”
“Becoming more familiar with the Bible verses and connecting the key points to our everyday existence... in a way for children to understand which in turn helped me become more aware having to teach it!”
Adult Helpers and Teen Leaders on how VBS help them meet new people and feel more connected to the community:
“I recognize more people at Mass now and it feels great to have that connection.”
“I got to be friends with the crew leaders, the kids, and the parents!”
