Retreat Description: On the night before He died, Jesus gathered His disciples in the Upper Room. There, He served them, broke bread with them, instructed them, and implored them to love one another. Using Jesus’ words from the Upper Room, we will explore a variety of prayer methods that will enable you to encounter Christ—the Living Word—in a new and personal way.
About the Presenters: Stephen Otto is a parishioner at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach and Maryanne Russell is Director of Evangelization and Stewardship at Saint Brigid Parish. Stephen and Maryanne are classmates in the Ignatian Spiritual Formation Program at Loyola Institute for Spirituality. They are looking forward to introducing you to some of their favorite Ignatian prayer practices as they guide you through the way from Lent to Easter by the Upper Room.
