Encounter Love Serve Jesus One Another The World

Follow His ways - think and act like Jesus

We are created in the image and likeness of God whose very nature is a dynamic relationship of love!  And the love of Jesus propels us into communion with others as Jesus points out in John 13:35 - by all 'by this all men will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.'  On one hand we need the love and support of community to find Jesus in the first place and to keep finding and following him.  And on the other hand we can follow St. Paul's roadmap on the specific characteristics of love:

Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude.  Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrong, but rejoices in the  right.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things... so faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.  - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7,13
