Lead others to Jesus... through friendship
Jesus was very clear when he told his disciples, and us, 'go and make disciples of men' - Matthew 28:19. How do we do that? Through Christian friendship. People don't care about what you know or love unless they first know you know and love them. Sirach explained it beautifully when he said 'a faithful friend is a sturdy shelter: he that has found one has found a treasure.' - Sirach 6:14. Christian friendship seeks to build others up. It perseveres through hardship and failure, and it believes in the vision of God has for our lives especially when we feel lost or forgotten. It loves through suffering, speaks truth when it's not easy, and stirs our hearts when we lose motivation to grow in Christ.
